In the there-oughta-be-a-law department

Here is a line from an e-mail sent today to our office by Steven Rowe, Maine's Attorney General:
 
"concerning the Freedom of Access Act: nothing in that law gives you the right to demand of state employees or officials that they provide answers to questions of your choosing."

This guy wants to run for governor. How do you think he'll do?
