    A little about Christine...

-Christine started bartending in December but she's been serving for a long time.

-Her hardest jobs were working at Friendly's and as a Hooters Girl. "You always had to look your best and could never have bad days". "The men at Hooters were zombies-ordering beer after beer".

-She likes The Tavern because it's much more low key. It's very laid back and friendly. The staff are great and so is the view, she says.

-Her signature drink is a margarita-"Confirmed by the staff as the best", she notes. She also enjoys adding creative touches like OJ to Bluemoons, "I like a lot of orange".

-She admits that work is much easier when shes making her favorite drinks. She likes her managers, colleagues, and best of all the view.

-What is your most embarrassing momenet behind the bar? "I haven't been behind the bar long enough to have a moment".

-Have you ever served a celebrity? She once served Shaq water.

-Christine's most memorable quality is her friendliness.

-When asked if she'd consider going back to Hooters, she says no thank you but she still kept the outfit anyways...

Get to know our featured bartender for March, Kevin Kelley!

KEVIN KELLEY & his ABSOLUT PERFECT PEAR MOJITO
    from RED SKY

Kevin's ABSOLUT PERFECT PEAR MOJITO Recipe:

    2 oz Absolut Pears
    3 Fresh Mint Sprigs
    2 oz White Rum
3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juics2oz Champagne
    3/4 oz Simple Syrup
    1 oz Soda Water
Garnish with fresh Mint Sprig and a Lime Wedge

    A little about Kevin...

    -  Kevin has been a bartender since 2003 and actually started as a Door Guy at the Purple Shamrock before working his way up to being a manager at Red Sky, where he currently works

    -  Kevin loves being the center of attention. He is a font and center guy, not behind the scenes.  In fact he was once nominated by AOL in a Best Looking Bartender in Boston contest.  He says he was robbed.

    -  He’s been stumped. Anyone ever heard of a Shiny Pirate?  Yeah Kevin hadn’t either.  His solution to the problem is simple – Ask.  When he still doesn’t know what they want he makes something that looks the same and tastes good and no one ever knows the difference.  Good to know.

    -  Kevin has had many memorable moments behind the bar serving celebrities but his favorite was getting to bartend while Bobby Brown had a spontaneous dance off with one of his other bartenders. It was Kevin’s prerogative that Bobby got served, but I guess when your humpin’ around you get more audience applause when your not.  Ha!

    -  Kevin loves his regulars and even has a special shot for them that they have dubbed “Magic”: Strawberry Vodka, Blue Vodka, Cran and Sour. Go try it out!

    -  Kevin has worked during every major sports championship win since 2003 and feels he is spiritually responsible for Boston’s success.  Just kidding.

    -  Kevin is a happy guy, a relatable guy and he loves to chat with the customers.  Go see him at Red Sky and see why he is an Absolut Top Bartender!

Get to know our featured bartender for March, Dermott Doran!

DERMOTT DORAN & his ABSOLUT BUBBLY PEAR
    from BEANTOWN PUB

    Dermott's ABSOLUT BUBBLY PEAR Recipe:

    2oz Absolut Pears
    1oz  Watermelon Cordial
    Splash of White Chocolate Liqueur
    2oz Champagne
    Lemon Lime Cola
    Garnish with a pear slice

    A little about Dermott...

    -  Dermott has been bartending for 23 years, starting his career on the emerald isle of Ireland and started when he was only 16!

    -  He says drinkers aren’t much different in Ireland than in Boston, just the names of the cocktails are different and some slight habits too.  For instance what we call a Mimosa in Ireland it’s ordered as a Popfizz.  Also Irish cocktail drinkers are specific with things like Ice.  No ‘on the rocks’ … they’ll tell you ‘2 cubes’ please.  However he never had trouble adapting.

    -  He says his location at Beantown pub has lended itself to having him bartend for some serious celebrities!  Including a famous young blonde starlet who has been in the news but he won’t divulge…Hmmm?

    -  He also takes credit for Junior Seau returning to the Patriots two seasons ago.  Junior was in the Beantown the day before he resigned and Dermott simply said “So when you comin’ back fella”… Thanks Dermott.

    -  Dermott believes he has served around 6,000 cocktails and his dedication to his craft earned him Employee of the Year at the Hyatt right here in Boston. He says that prize might be slightly better than this contest since he got to spend 2 weeks in Hawaii and all.

    -  Any words to the public Dermott?  “What the F**k do ya want there B***ch?!!”  I guess the more he abuses us behind the bar, the more we pay attention and pay. Ha.

    -  Dermott is a wealth of comedy, sarcasm and a great mixologist. Check him out at the Beantown Pub and learn why he is an Absolut Top Bartender!

    - Marc claims he is rarely stumped behind the bar and loves when customers recommend a drink.  He’s always learning!

    - Because of the location of his bar, Marc’s regulars are made up of a lot of stylists and hairdressers.  Despite not having hair himself, he still doesn’t feel like he is missing out on the good will from the happy hairdressers he serves!  He loves making people happy.

    - Marc has served everyone from John Lithgow to Wes Welker with Cam Neely in between.  He says Welker was the easiest: draft beer – easy pour!
