&lt;p&gt;Will the last newspaper, publisher,editor, reporter, advertiser sales person, press person, delivery driver, and carrier leaving the room turn off the lights and close the door.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The challenge and assault to our press freedoms continues. &amp;nbsp;Will someone somewhere wake up before they become extinct? &lt;/p&gt;

Whether that other funding and ad revenue that we've been working on ever gets realized is an unknown so we have no other option but to tell advertisers that we have closed our doors for now. &amp;nbsp;That's the downside of being a small independent paper. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
