Of course, there are no laws and rules governing this -- there are no laws and rules governing journalism as a profession. The point I was trying to make is that being the guy who writes the story and being the guy who spins the guy who writes the story are two dramatically different endeavors. If you spend too much time doing the later, it becomes very difficult to do the former. So my "twice" revolving door idea is simply a theory, not a mandate.
