&lt;p&gt;First Kim Atkins, now Ross -- maybe the Herald should keep the folks they want to hang onto away from the Daily Briefing blog. &amp;nbsp;Nice hire for the Globe, tough loss for the Herald, and it'll be interesting to see how Ross slides into what sounds like a pretty juicy beat.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A discussion question for the class: If Ross will be covering commercial real estate and the nexus of business and politics, where do you see him spending most of his time early on? &amp;nbsp;Southie waterfront, maybe?&lt;/p&gt;
