Not as snarky and provocative as, say, NY Magazine, not as relevant as, say, the Texas Monthly. I occasionally still get suckered into picking up BM and am always disappointed. Yes, Kevin C. sometimes also lets me down, as do many columnists (are you listening Maureen Dowd?) but at least he seems to have a beating heart. BM too often seems to be completely the sum and total of what the currently powerful group of advertisers need/demand at any one time.&lt;/p&gt;

Those are two very different words. I don't know if he considered it (seriously), but you don't seem to either -- yet you seem to assert it as a fact.&lt;/p&gt;
