He is so critcal of others - I wonder if he'll have the stones to confront this and face it like the tough guy he portrays himself as. I think it is pretty clear he lifted the story... The Globe which sits on its high horse will be forced to do something. I concur with the previous poster - buh-bye, Ron. There's hope - you can go work for the Herald.

That footer does not come close to covering Borges. All that says is he didn't do all of the reporting: others provided input. That is not a licence to plagarize.

Don't think there's much wiggle room here for Globe/Borges. Acknowledging that you might have used some unidentified outlets for source material is one thing, but failing to disclose that you actually did no reporting and simply lifted wholesale sections of a previousy published article is quite another. Buh-bye.
