New Owner for RI Future

The new owner of liberal blog RI Future has revealed himself:

Hello everyone.  I’m sure this didn’t come as a surprise to some of you.  My name is Brian Hull and I am the new owner and editor of the RI Future blog.

I appreciate the advice and support that I received from Matt Jerzyk and Pat Crowley, and I thank them for all that they have done to create, maintain, and grow the blog to where it is today.  Without their hard and diligent work, the blog would not be the preeminent progressive news and opinion source for the state.  I commend them and I thank them both for the opportunity and their blessing to take over and build upon their previous successes.  I am eager to take on the challenge of bringing the blog to the next level, and to make it be a fully featured progressive organizing and activist tool for the state of RI.

I will be working closely with leaders throughout the state to bring you up to the minute news about crucially important issues facing Rhode Island, reporting on news and events with an “insider’s perspective.”  And I also look forward to using the RI Future blog to build and focus the progressive movement.
