VIDEO: The Books, "Cold Freezing Night" live at the ICA. Video by Brodeur.

In his review of the Books' show at the ICA from last Friday, Phoenix music editor Michael Brodeur describes a new song, "Cold Freezing Night," just unveiled that evening:

“Cold Freezing Night,” was assembled from collected soliloquies offered by (surprisingly violent) children of the early ’90s into their respective Talkboys (now rescued from thrift stores — and the realm of the private — by the duo).

But as any writing professor might say, "show, don't tell." So he also shot some video, which you can watch above.
