VIDEO: Shepard Fairey posters the Phoenix

It's been kind of a good month for Barack Obama posterizer-in-chief Shephard Fairey. His recent commissions have included both the Leader of the Free World and Google (the MLK-day logo rebrand was his), he was just on the Colbert Report, had the cover of Esquire, and his iconic Obama portrait was unveiled at the Smithsonian.

Of course, that's nothing compared to his latest honor: at this very second, he's turning the facade of the Boston Phoenix's Fenway offices into a wheat-paste poster mural.Woo-hoo!

Thanks to the genius of crappy cell phone streaming, we are pleased to bring you a live broadcast of this momentous event. Don't forget that Fairey's one-man museum show opens at the Insitute of Contemporary Art on February 6

UPDATE 4 PM: All done! Come by 126 Brookline Ave, down the street from Fenway Park, to check it out. Or just browse the vids below to get a peek. And yes, we'll have some non-crappy-cellpone video to show you shortly . . . and pick up/click on next week's Phoenix for our interview with the man himself.
