Very insightful article in The Boston Phoenix weekly on Fred Thompson.  The more one reads about Thompson, the less there is of him.  His campaign bio is that of a younger candidate - Senate aide, actor, 8-year Senator.  His appearance is that of an older man - Thompson has lived every single day of his 64 years and many moons more.  As he resembles a Munster, can hardly wait for the make-up artists to have a go at the old boy.  (Did you notice how dramatically different the fleshy and pudgy New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson looked in the Dem. South Carolina debate when compared to his news photos?  Hoo hoo). Fred just looks old and tired.  Gazing upon his craggy features, one sees New Hampshire's Profile Mountain ("The Old Man Of The Mountains") after it collapsed.  The Entropy Candidate.
