Mars and Venus and Mars.....

Hi Sally, I have Venus in Cancer - what will happen when Mars goes retrograde in Cancer? Thanks, Jodi

Mars on Venus or Venus on Mars is very good for friend-making, romance, appearance-improving and all that sexual electricity stuff. Mars Rx can indicate a lag time or reluctance to follow through. It's a nice little transit, and useful for persuasion or being more attractive. Mars in Cancer in general is a passive aggressive place for Mars so expect defensiveness from certain signs (Aries, Libra), and emotional remoteness from Capricorn. Pisces/Scorpio people should take advantage and I hope I was specfic about the days that are most critical for that in "Sun Signs" Thanks for writing Jodi

wow, it's only been 9 days?

since last entry? I am behind on everything. Behind, behinder, behindest. This is because I have been collaborating with others on a huge world-shaking project that could improve life as we know it at 42 degrees, 48. I think that's the number. My desk is a sea of papers. The leaves are coming off the tree. Moon in capricorn is about restructuring intelligently. Invest wisely.

learning...

Hi Sally, My name is Cat, 9-6-82. I am very interested in learning about astrology. I have read many books, but I feel like I cannot begin to figure it all out by myself. I was wondering if there was anyone you could refer me to for further study? I am very serious, and have been searching for a teacher for sometime with no luck. Any advice you could offer would really be appreciated. Thanks a lot, Cat

Cat, happy birthday. Books I have enjoyed include: Religion and the decline of Magic, by Keith Thomas, Scribners, anything by Frances Sakoian and Robert Hand, "The Queen's Conjuror" by Benjamin Wooley, Penny Thornton's Princess Diana memoirs (amazingly good on process -- to be read with ephemeris alongside). If you're local, I'll be teaching at the Cambridge Center....see below. This is a great two-year period for learning new material and challenging yourself. Virgos in graduate school: you're in the right place! Love and the Stars and Your Horoscope Cambridge Center for Adult Ed., Sunday Nov. 18, 1 to 3 p.m. You know your sun-sign, but how can you put your personal astrology to work for your love life? Is there a sign you can't resist? Or one that gets under your skin...and you can't tell if it's for better or for worse? Join syndicated astrology columnist Sally Cragin (locally she writes "Moon Signs" for the Boston Phoenix as Symboline Dai) for an entertaining and educational seminar on what exactly the Moon and the planets have to do with romance and relationships. After registration please email sally@moonsigns.net with your birth-date, including the time of day and birth-place -and we'll discuss how (and when) you can move forward with your love life. And, oh yes, personal consultations are always on the menu. Visit moonsigns.net for more. Listen to Symboline every Monday at 10 a.m. On WCRN, 830 AM, on Tuesday at 6:05 p.m. on WEIM-1280 AM and on Fridays at 8:45 a.m. on WTAG-560 AM

So What Does A Total Eclipse When Theres A Full Moon In Pisces Mean For Us Fishy Folk And What Does It Mean For Folks Whos

So, what does a total eclipse when there's a full moon in Pisces mean for us fishy folk? And what does it mean for folks whose moon sign is Pisces? Similarities, differences in what we should look for/move with? Thanks - Christa

Eclipses are unpleasant and usually come with a shift of power or fall from grace or other unexpected or difficult transition. For Pisces with that paranoid/depressive streak, an eclipse can confirm the most deeply held conviction that the world is going to HELL!!!

Virgo everywhere

Are you attracted to Virgo right now? You should be. Them and Geminis. Oh man, that's awful grammar. My 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Doe would be VERY scathing about that. "Oh, you're sleeping OVER their house -- are you going to be ON THE ROOF???"

Seriously though, I thought I was going to write about how great the new ice cream maker is and how interesting to look at eclipse patterns for Watergate, but since I am natal last quarter moon, it's all about ME! heh. I should be on WCRN, 830 AM tomorrow at 10 unless hank's off.
