2011 Boston Music Awards return to the Liberty Hotel on November 20

This year's BOSTON MUSIC AWARDS will return to the Liberty Hotel on Sunday, November 20, its third year in the glitzy former prison unit. A few years ago at the Orpheum the BMAs went up against Lady Gaga at the Wang -- this year's course of conflict opponent across town is the much-anticipated M83 show at the House of Blues (which was upgraded from the Paradise due to ticket demand).Choose your side, Boston.

Last year's BMAs was a successful party, save a few crowded elevators, held on a chilly in December. Peter Wolf won Album Of The Year (for Midnight Souvenirs), Dom took home Song Of The Year (the ubiquitous "Living In America"), Kingsley Flood were named Best New Artist, Dropkick Murphys Best Live Act, and Billy Ruane was posthumously presented an Unsung Hero Award.
