A working dairy farm and living museum of Vermont's rural past. The farm dates back to 1871, when owner Frederick Billings, a lawyer, railroad entrepreneur, and philanthropist, began importing cows from the Isle of Jersey. The three Harvard art museums — the Fogg Art Museum, the Busch-Reisinger Museum, and the Arthur M. Sackler Museum — are now considered one museum under the new, simplified name. The collections have been integrated as well, including ceramics and paintings from 18th-century Europe, modern art, ancient Greek and Roman portraiture, and Germanic art. The Fogg Museum and the Busch-Reisinger Museum began a five-year renovation in June of 2008, and the Sackler will host selected works while 32 Quincy St remains closed. The museum is open Mon through Sat from 10 am to 5 pm, and on Sun 1 to 5 pm. Admission is $8, $6 for seniors, and $4 for college students.
