Munir Mohammed painted what he describes as a "community empowerment" mural on the parking lot side of Compare Foods Supermarket on Broad Street in 1994. It's now much faded, but you can still identify children in a playground, a construction worker, people joining hands over a dove, a couple holding up their baby boy.
