Talking to Himself

It’s not about celebrity.
I don’t talk about celebrity very much. Both books are trying to find something human rather than professional. I do recognize the value of working hard to achieve something that everybody else will acknowledge is a successful life. But if that’s all it is, it’s not as successful as I think it could be. If I can’t really notice the moments that pass by and make real contact with the people that I love, then I think I’m more in danger of thinking, at the end, “what was that all about?”
