A taste of Great Bay

June 5
By TAMARA WIEDER  |  May 30, 2007
As long as you’re okay with acknowledging National Hunger Awareness Day by getting spectacularly full, head to Great Bay (500 Comm Ave, Boston) on June 5. That’s when the restaurant co-hosts the second annual “Wine. Dine. Donate” dinner along with Epicurious.com. Chef/owner Michael Schlow welcomes Joanne Chang (Flour Bakery & Café) and Seth and Angela Raynor (The Pearl, Nantucket) for the prix-fixe dinner, which features marinated fluke, slow-roasted veal, and peach-and-ricotta tart. The event starts with a reception at 6:30 pm; the cost is $100, excluding tax and gratuity, and benefits the Greater Boston Food Bank. Visit epicurous.com/donate for tickets.
