Moonsigns
Today: November 8, 2009
Waning moon in Leo. Be warned: it’s a high-energy day for Aries and Libra, good listening for water signs. Everyone needs attention, and a lot isn’t enough. Leo, don’t hesitate to toot your own horn. Impromptu parties involving kids or promoting a person or place are excellent to schedule — even at short notice.
This week: November 6, 2009
November 9: fall of the Berlin Wall and Kristallnacht. November 11: Veterans Day. Some heavy holidays come this week, and with the last-quarter moon, one’s impulse is to watch the sands go through the hourglass, rather than turn the hourglass over again. Yes, not enough time to do what you need to do, and reveries on matters you can’t do much about are a likely solace. Late in the week is excellent for weighing options, while the weekend is totally about cocooning, baking, and keeping warm. Next week is super for cleaning house, or at least going through the sweater collection to see what will work for another winter.

About MoonSigns
This horoscope traces the passage of the moon, not the sun. Simply read from day to day to watch the moon’s influence as it moves through the signs of the zodiac.
When the moon is in your sun sign (e.g., you’re a Taurus and the moon is in Taurus), you are beginning a new 28-day emotional cycle. Expect increased insight and emotional responses during this two day period. The moon changes sign approximately every 2.5 days, so it’s influence is intense, but ultimately brief. Now, when the moon is in the sign opposite your sun sign, expect some ups and downs. Here are the oppositions: Aries, Libra. Taurus, Scorpio. Gemini, Sagittarius. Cancer, Capricorn. Leo, Aquarius and Virgo, Pisces.
As the moon between signs, it will sometimes become "void of course," and make no major angles to planets. Consider this a null time and try to avoid decision-making or implementing decisions if you can. It is an excellent period for creativity, unexpected encounters, and quirky outcomes.
