In 1991 Guru and Premier show love for Roxbury MC Edo G (know then as ED O.G) by appearing in his landmark 1991 video for “I Got To Have It.” Aside from Guru and Marky Mark, Edo's debut from that year, Life of a Kid in the Ghetto, remains Boston's only gold-certified hip-hop album.
