A full seven days of action on the live circuit! No excuses — get out there. Beach-bound on FRIDAY (the 10th)? WORLD PREMIERE funks up the Newport Blues Cafe (401.841.5510), while THE AGENTS (2012 Best Music Poll champs!) and FUNKWAGON hit the Ocean Mist; call 401.782.3740 for details. Quality shows all over the place on SATURDAY (the 11th): Latin-funk pros SANTA MAMBA return to the Spot Underground ($5, 401.383.7133); BEBEREQUIN and JAKE HALLER & THE SILENT TREATMENT visit the Sandywoods Center for the Arts in Tiverton (401.241.7349); THE COMPLAINTS hit the Whiskey Republic (401.588.5158), and Peter Griffin's buds — STEVE SMITH & THE NAKEDS — play the Narragansett Café (401.423.2150). And don't forget ROOMFUL OF BLUES performing two sets at Chan's in Woonsocket on Saturday (401.765.1900). On SUNDAY (the 12th), an extra-special edition of the RI Legends Jam at the Met features MARK CUTLER & FRIENDS starting around 4 pm with no cover; dial 401.729.1005 for the full scoop. On MONDAY (the 13th), ABLE THOUGHT and Newport's THREE POINTS OF MADNESS play a freebie at the Apartment (21+, 401.228.7222). On TUESDAY (the 14th), kick back with the jazzy jams provided by THE MANGO TRIO at Roots Café from 7-10 pm (no cover, 401.272.7422), while COYOTE CAMPUS and locals RAVI SHAVI hit the Bucket for a free show at the News Café (all-ages, 401.728.6475).
