Sorry to report the Detroit Rebellion show at Chilango's slated for THURSDAY (the 7th) has been rescheduled for March 14, but fear not, for the Roots Café (401.272.7422) hosts THE CAN'T NOTS with VERTICAL TWIN and PVD newcomers LOCAL LIGHTS tonight, while FALL & BOUNCE, SEXCOFFEE, and NYMPHIDELS visit Firehouse 13 ($5, 401.270.1801). The Met (401.729.1005) presents a supremely badass lineup on FRIDAY (the 8th) with THE NEIGHBORHOODS, HOPE ANCHOR, and NEUTRAL NATION rocking out in the Bucket, while an equally badass trio throws down at Local 121 with PARTY PIGS, THEE ITCHIES, and RAVI SHAVI (new album is pretty darn excellent); 21+ and doors at 10 pm, call 401.274.2121.
