"This next one is sort of the title track to our new EP," said Lagace prior to "Isle of Skulls," her sleepy bassline was eventually seared by the rumbling onslaught.

"Sorry we didn't chat much, I always get neurotic before we play," noted Lagace the following day via email. Could have fooled me, as the trio was all smiles while melting our faces and sounded tighter than ever.

Lagace stated that the band's future plans include a possible East Coast tour as well as a full-length album. In the meantime, get to Machines with Magnets and enjoy getting your skull rattled compliments of Melanie, Shannon, and Nicole.
