Bluegrass punks THREE DAY THRESHOLD are at Camp Street Studio recording a new full-length with the working title Good Country Gone Terribly, Terribly Bad; they expect to have the disc ready for late ’06. Brookline’s Pub Records has a trio of releases lined up. This month it’s C-MONEY & THE PLAYERS INC.’s live set, The Rebirth of Hip Hop, recorded at Matt Murphy’s Pub. November brings Live@Eleven Vol. 2, the follow-up to last year’s Pub Records debut compilation. The label’s first studio release, guitarist JOHNNY TRAMA’s Comin’ from Everywhere, drops later this year.
The Boston Pop Underground live-music series returns with a CANDY BUTCHERS residency at the Lizard Lounge every second Saturday starting in October and celebrating the release of Making Up Time, which has newly recorded versions of previously unreleased Candy Butchers material and will be issued through head Butcher Mike Viola’s new label, Good Morning Monkey Records.
