Hunting season

By SAM MACLAUGHLIN  |  December 28, 2006

Not at all. Any band that has their CD-release show at the Norwood American Legion is fine by me. I love that place.
Me too. What’s that woman’s name? Mary? Crazy Mary?

Scary Mary.
SD: I’ve seen her almost die.

CC: I always get scared when we play there. What’s that dude’s name? Larry? He’s always angry. He’s there just to tell people to leave. That’s all he does. “Get out! If you’re not in the band, get out! Go home!”

So these shows coming up feel like a homecoming?
Oh yeah. I think playing in California would probably be the least homey feeling we could have. Any shows in Boston feel like home.

The Dear Hunter + Therefore I Am + Wax on Radio play the ICC, 557 Cambridge Street, in Allston, December 29, tickets $10.
