Providence DJ GFA (a/k/a Michael Moniz) might be blowing up in New England, but down South he’s just a party animal. “I’m headed down with the guys from Volume Productions out of RI,” he says via e-mail. “We’re definitely hitting up the Scion parties, Tommy Sunshine’s birthday party, Egyptian Lover featuring Nucleus, and the Turntablelab showcase. This is the first time heading down there, and I am beyond stoked.” And RED FOXXWORTH? He’s stoked for “Ed Banger, of course. And being on the beach . . . and driving in a convertible listening to Phil Collins at dusk. And Digitalism live. . . . But mostly Phil Collins in convertibles at dusk.” Nice.
