For those who crave even more-extreme sonic intensity, the indefatigable Howard Stelzer — local musician, concert organizer, and head of the Intransitive Recordings label — has put together a formidable night of noise and power electronics at P.A.’s Lounge this Sunday, October 14, with noise artist Grunt (a/k/a Mikko Aspa) from Finland, tape collagist Putrefier (a/k/a Mark Durgan) from the UK, New Jersey’s FFH, local noise hero Karlheinz with Providence’s Bereft, and the hardcore-inspired Fire in the Head. If this show had a subtitle, it would be something along the lines of “From a Scream to an Even Louder Scream.” Not for the squeamish.
