Adding to the otherworldly atmosphere are the projections of stars, astral phenomena, and lunar expeditions that were designed for the performance. “As a performer, another thing I found most interesting was how playing in complete darkness affected our approach. There can be no extraneous light in the room, otherwise it ruins the effect of the star projections. Other than a couple of reading lights, we had no light to play by. It becomes a very intimate experience, with each of us listening microscopically to one another.”
