Oh My God will likely attract an even wider audience. Though the songs draw from a wider sonic spectrum and the band’s arrangements are richer and more colorful, the heart of the Low Anthem’s material remains the same, with deep, meaningful lyrics and direct, passionate performances. “People aren’t going to say, ‘Oh, no, they’re a four-piece rock band!’ ” laughs Jeff. “We’re making sure to keep our writing strong. The songs are essentially the same. We’re just choosing to present them a little differently.”
