Pierson's life-altering injury was one of a gang of challenges the band has faced — major gear thefts, iffy record sales, the inherent difficulty of six busy people collaborating on anything. But Dose isn't one to haul more from the past than its lessons, preferring the whirr of the present and the promise of the future — small wonder he picks poems over novels. He tends to think of things in larger terms — or in his case, better words.
"Doing this, making a perfect poem has to do with everything you've ever read and everything you've ever forgotten," he says. "Making a poem is from the chest."

Shortly after DJ Hero ’s release, a couple of craiglist ads popped up from gamers claiming they’ll plug in and play the game at your party for $75 — all you have to provide is the TV and the speakers.
