We think that everyone knows that she was a first-rate and groundbreaking Secretary of State. And she and her husband Mac have been involved in more community and public service initiatives than we (or probably anyone else) can recall.

And, closer to Casa Diablo, for a few years about a quarter century ago, The Susan Farmer/Phillipe + Jorge Bowling Tournament, to benefit the Fund for Community Progress, was a highlight of each year. No one should be surprised to learn that it was Muffy’s idea and that her dedication made the whole thing a successful fundraiser and lots of fun. No one deserves this honor more.
