WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT? That I have a 17-year-old son who is smarter, better-looking, more creative, and funnier than I am.
FAVORITE THING ABOUT RHODE ISLAND? That I know everybody.
LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT RHODE ISLAND? That they all think I should remember their name and how it is that I know them.

FAVORITE LOCAL DISH? Striped bass that I caught in the bay, on my grill, with potatoes and corn-on-the-cob from the Pawtuxet Village farmers market.
IF YOU DIDN’T LIVE HERE, WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE? South Attleboro, near the MBTA station, so I could get to Providence, Boston, NYC, and beyond in the oncoming no gasoline era.

WHAT BAR/RESTAURANT/LANDMARK/PERSONALITY THAT HAS CEASED TO EXIST IN THE LAST 30 YEARS DO YOU MISS THE MOST? Met Café / Julienne’s / East Side Diner / Old Red Bridge / Ed Hall (former Trinity actor and dear family friend).
PHILLIPE OR JORGE? Do you mean the guy I washed dishes with at David’s Pot Belly or the husband of one my ex-girlfriends (told you I know everybody). By the way, the dish-washer, ex-girlfriend, Lt. Governor, and myself . . . all born on April 17.
