IN HER WORDS "I have 14 years of government experience and long-standing relationships and connections to utilize for my constituents. And I do my campaigning in heels."
IN OUR WORDS Though she entered the race relatively late, former Senator John Kerry aide Ayanna Pressley managed to wrack up endorsements from such bigwigs as US Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, plus local unions and the Ward 5 Democratic Committee. It's hard to deny her front-runner status: Pressley's being the only woman in the race is just one advantage; her real success (or downfall) will come from her ability to ride into City Hall on the back of the Massachusetts Democratic machine.
