THEME SONG "You Say Tom, I Say Tomas"
IN HIS WORDS "[I have] seven years of senior management experience in city government as Latino liaison and as chief of staff at Boston's Elderly Commission, plus my knowledge of urban affairs."
IN OUR WORDS In looking at the track record of Mayor Menino's former Latino liaison, one might conclude that Tomas Gonzalez has been running for an at-large seat since he arrived at City Hall. In addition to having established relationships with minorities and seniors citywide, he's won the attention of many (and spurned some) by beefing with State Treasurer Tim Cahill and his former boss, Hizzoner. On a side note: Gonzalez also has the prettiest Web site in the field.
