6. Anders from Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening
Last year, Dragon Age’s Alistair made the list (he clocks in at #5). This year’s expansion to Dragon Age brought us Anders. Are they basically the same character? Yeah, sort of, except you can romance Alistair, and you can’t have Anders. Oh, such bitter unfairness! Anders mostly feels similar to Alistair because he doesn’t have enough backstory to distinguish him. If the writers would just give us a little more to work with, we’d be able to love him for more than just his looks. Until then, piles and piles of fan art and screen shots will have to suffice.
