5. Ethan Mars from Heavy Rain
Heavy Rain’s ornate, multifaceted mystery story tries so hard to be taken seriously that it seems like a tasteless insult to point out that Ethan also happens to be really cute. Just like the similarly sexy Sam Fisher of the Splinter Cell series, Ethan Mars is an unshaven brown-haired hero willing to go to epic lengths to save his child, but unlike Sam, Ethan doesn’t have combat training or experience with vast conspiracies. He’s just an everyman caught up in a crazy situation, and his depression and insecurity only make him more human … and therefore, more adorable. It’s no wonder Madison falls in love with him.
