Coming up in the galleries this fall are shows by Pat Corrigan and Karen Gelardi at 37-A GALLERY, and Jeff Kellar’s “Locations” opening at ICON in Brunswick on September 18. Dozier Bell will have a solo show at AUCOCISCO GALLERY in October, followed by Gail Spaien and Ahmed Alsoudani in November. JUNE FITZPATRICK GALLERY on Congress Street will exhibit landscapes by New York artist Henry Finkelstein in October, and “Maps” in November, featuring Shannon Rankin, Jeff Woodbury, and Irmary Nacht, three artists who deconstruct and play with maps in various scales. WHITNEY ART WORKS is showing “New Photographs” through the end of the month with work by David Caras, Gary Green, and Tanja Alexia Hollander, and a group text show “I’m Just Sayin/I know Right?” will open in October. Check out CORDUROY BOUTIQUE for Nate Deyesso’s “Growing” on October 3, and of course, the clandestine SACRED AND PROFANE October 23 happening on Peaks Island.
