The play has a suitably surrealistic climax, in which the whole genteel setting appears to have been tossed into the microwave. For this the design team deserves credit along with the actors. But even with Kuntz doing his outrageous thing and Snee his reliably droll one, thought and feeling are the stars of Hysteria.
