LINDE FAMILY WING FOR CONTEMPORARY ART | Museum of Fine Arts | Opens September 17

The MFA debuts its new contemporary art wing, said to have more total gallery space than the ICA, with highlights from its permanent collection, including MassArt alum Christian Marclay's 24-hour video compilation of movie moments, The Clock, which won the Golden Lion prize at this year's Venice Biennale, plus a survey of Museum School grad Ellsworth Kelly's minimalist wood sculpture (through March 4). The MFA follows this up with the blockbuster exhibit "Degas and the Nude," showcasing 50 years of naked ladies by the Impressionist master (October 9–February 5).
