TALKING POINTSBucky Fuller once gave a 42-hour talk titled "Everything I Know." Playwright D.W. Jacobs condenses the words, wisdom, and biography of the inventor, architect, environmentalist, and Renaissance-man-ahead-of-his-Renaissance into the two hours of R. Buckminster Fuller: The History (and Mystery) of the Universe, in which he directed bundle-of-intellectual-energy Thomas Derrah for ART. The production supplied Derrah with a few tinker-toy props and some quirky and magisterial projections. The actor took it from there, his Fuller a dervish of ideas, recollections, and prognostications that never stopped whirling.
