WAR IS HELL
A homecoming of sorts was the Boston premiere of 9 Circles, a disturbing drama, set in "Iraq and after," by Boston Shakespeare Company founder-turned-award-winning playwright Bill Cain. Eric Engel was at the helm of this examination of an American soldier accused of a heinous crime. And newcomer Jimi Stanton gave a chilling yet wrenching performance as the murderous misfit with a serious compassion disorder floundering his way toward the better part of himself.
