Dance revolution

By KELSEA BRENNAN-WESSELS  |  July 18, 2007

The ending is a powerful culmination of the ideas portrayed. Three dancers discover a motionless activist and, with comic dialogue, decide to attempt to make him move. Comedy gives way to an overwhelming intensity as they struggle to push him forward. Like a group bonding together for the same cause, more and more people join the initial three dancers. They push him forward and he falls back, but they persist as he gains strength. By the end he is back to the full-force throwing motion. Dorfman joins the young man in the motion. This not only demonstrates the passion of political activists, but hope for future generations.
