If you could capture any politician and keep him chained up in your backyard as a pet, who would it be and what cutesy pet name would you give him?
Dennis Kucinich. I’d call him “Gilbert Gottfried.”

You had a baby pretty recently. What’d you do with it?
Immediately projected all my unfulfilled dreams onto her. She’s already signed up for Patriots cheerleading camp.

What are you going to do to stop global warming?
Shame-stare people driving Escalades.

What are you going to do to stop Ralph Nader?
I think once he sees Dennis Kucinich — oh, excuse me, Gilbert — reciting the “Aristocrats” joke in my backyard, I’ll be able to shame-stare him into anything.

No more writers’ strike! Thoughts?
I hope this doesn’t mean the end

While New York is grittier, Los Angeles juicier, and Boston is wicked smahter, for some odd reason it is Montreal that, for two weeks every summer, becomes the epicenter of the comedy universe.

Warm weather is supposed to be accessorized by lackaday, by a breezy sensibility best enjoyed with a frosty tall boy in one hand, the sloppy product of a back-yard barbecue in the other. Instead, I find myself struggling to balance my beer between my knees and my overstocked paper plate on my thigh as I furiously poke at my BlackBerry.
