The ICA AT MECA is hosting a group show on view from late January through April, "Exchange" will feature collaborations in various media by Lewis Hyde and Maz Gimblett, David Ross, Caitlin Berrigan, and Deb Todd Wheeler. This summer Beth Lipman and Kirsten Hassenfeld will grace the galleries with works in glass and paper.
In the galleries, look for SPACE GALLERY's Free For All 2 this January, a follow-up to their 2007 submission-less salon-style experiment. WHITNEY ART WORKS is hosting "DUAL SITE: A Psychogeographic Dinner Theater" in the month of January, part two of the sold-out Blue Hammer project. There will be six performances this time around; make your reservations now! JUNE FITZPATRICK will have an exhibit of works by MECA staff in her Congress Street Gallery in January, and "Six MECA Painters Ten Years Later" in the High Street Gallery, featuring John Alexander, Matt Cote, John Foddrill, Erica Hansen, Cheryl Johnson, and Elizabeth Prescott. GREENHUT GALLERIES will have a group show of gallery artists early this year, followed by "A Variety Show," and new work by Glenn Renell. The COLEMAN BURKE GALLERY in Brunswick will house an installation by Nestor Gil in January, and work by Abby Manock the following month.
