Completing the strong sense of place is an ambient soundtrack, wafting from small speakers placed throughout the gallery. Blue and yellow tinted lighting are chosen over white light. A Condoleezza Rice Halloween mask quietly peers down from near the ceiling, a sort of female black Big Brother. The space is part-playground and part-graveyard, embodying a never-ending conversation about what renders something complete, or effective, or dead.
