'TISWHAT SEASON?! If the heat has you craving sweater weather, you can get a head start on the fall beer onslaught with the early arrival of Sierra Nevada's Tumbler Autumn Brown Ale, Harpoon's UFO Pumpkin, and Magic Hat's "Ourtoberfest" entry, Hex (perhaps Sierra Nevada's winter wonder Celebration Ale will hit shelves by Columbus Day). And speaking of Sierra Nevada, grab a Beer Camp sampler (or three) before they're gone (the stock was in the single digits at the stores I checked with last week). As Josh noted a few weeks ago, all four selections are top-notch; the Weizenbock is particularly impressive, and opened the door to a style I hadn't tried before.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK "There are a lot of people out there in the world who like good beer, but they just don't know it yet." _Peter Egelston, owner of Smuttynose Brewing Co.
