OTHER SAVORED GLASSES I got reacquainted with Green Flash's fantastic West Coast IPA and Lagunitas' sublime Hop Stoopid (which has a sly reference to Steely Dan's "Kid Charlemagne" in the note on its label); and a pair of sippers from Peak Organic: Hop Noir, a Black IPA which is a stellar take on the opaque blend, though it's overshadowed by the aforementioned Stone monstrosity; and King Crimson, an Imperial Red Ale (at Track 84, where a cask of Mayflower Pale Ale crafted by owner Dave Longiaru will be tapped on September 22), an impressive (and strong: 9% ABV) spin on a style that is moving up my beer chart.
