Desserts, also made there, run from Reese's peanut butter cup cake to "Indulgent Cake of the Moment." They are only $3.95, except for the $2.50 grapenut custard, which we had. Good choice. Smile-inducing.

We ordered a pizza and a calzone to go. I'm glad we got the latter too, because the dough was very tasty. Vexingly, that is not always the case at pizza shops, which can render a calzone, where the dough plays a greater part, uneventful. We got the Greek version, which was extra tangy from the vinegary peppers added to the feta, olives, and tomatoes, and garlicky spinach. We also gobbled up our vegetarian delight choice under the dozen gourmet pizzas ($9.50/$16.75). It was heaped high with seven ingredients, including eggplant. I sure was glad that Dan's mom believes in large portions.
