Gather up your squad and hit TEAMWORKS WARWICK (170 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick, teamworkswarwick.com, 401.463.5565). The multi-sport complex houses every sporting league imaginable; adult leagues (18+) include football and hoops, Dek Hockey in April, soccer four nights per week, and co-ed volleyball and dodgeball.

CHEER 'EM ON!

Coach Keno Davis and his PROVIDENCE COLLEGE FRIARS basketball (friars.com, 401.865.GOPC) squad are at the Dunkin' Dounts Center, with big Vin Council and Marshon Brooks leading the way. Seats range from $12-$85 per game, and mini-flex packages are available.

The Ryan Center comes alive as Jim Baron and his URI RAMS (gorhody.com, 800.745.3000 ) do battle in the A-10 conference. Big upcoming games include UMass (2.19) and George Washington U (3.2); tickets range from $11-$85.

Rattle some glass when the PROVIDENCE BRUINS (providencebruins.com) kick ass at the Dunk. Their promo nights always include great free swag, like the upcoming St. Patty's T-Shirt Night (3.18 vs. Worcester), Visor Night (4.1 vs. CT), and Stress Ball Night (4.10 vs. Manchester). Tickets start at $18.

The Triple-A PAWTUCKET RED SOX (1 Columbus Avenue, Pawtucket, pawsox.com, 401.724.7300) boast the best minor league ballpark in McCoy Stadium, from lounging on the left field berm to high-posting in the box seats (for just $11!). New manager Arnie Beyeler (and welcome new hitting coach, Chili Davis!) have their sights set on the International League crown. The 2011 campaign kicks off April 7 with a two-night homestand against the Rochester Red Wings. All adult tix are $11 and $7, with multi-game packs available.

CULTURE + OTHER STUFF

Take a class or catch a show at TRINITY REPERTORY COMPANY (201 Washington Street, Providence, trinityrep.com, 401.351.4242). Tickets are on sale now (with student discounts) for Dael Orlandersmith's Yellowman, Arthur Miller's The Crucible, and Steel Magnolias. Sign up for the Trinity Rep MFA program and pick up your Ph.D in Theatre & Performance; there are also acting classes and courses like Intro to Improv (starting in February, $275) and Shakespeare (April, $300).

Catch IMPROV JONES at Perishable Theatre (95 Empire Street, Providence, improvjones.com, 401.331.2695). Fast approaching 20 years in the biz, they're Rhode Island's finest improvisational comedy troupe. The off-the-cuff action takes place every Thursday and Saturday at 10 pm ($5 at the door).

Visit the RISD MUSEUM (20 North Main Street, Providence, risdmuseum.org, 401.454.6500). Current notable attractions include Collision and Changing Poses: The Artist's Model; Cocktail Culture opens on April 15. Admission is $3 with any college ID (free for Brown and RISD students), and free on the third Thursday and last Saturday of each month.

At the NEWPORT ART MUSEUM (76 Bellevue Avenue, newportartmuseum.org, 401.848.8200), student ID bennies include $6 daily admission or a $30 membership with discounted rates on a great selection of art classes, from Japanese calligraphy to pottery to photography.

Get your laffs out at the COMEDY CONNECTION (39 Warren Avenue, East Providence, ricomedyconnection.com, 401.438.8383). Upcoming national headliners include Half Baked/SNL alum Jim Breuer on February 3 ($25) and John Witherspoon on April 14 ("Bang-Bang-Bang!").

Go to the source for grapes and hops. Swirl and sip with your fellow oenophiles at one of the state's vineyards. Afternoon tours are offered at NEWPORT VINEYARDS (newportvineyards.com), SAKONNET VINEYARDS in Tiverton (sakonnetwine.com), and GREENVALE VINEYARDS in Portsmouth (greenvale.com). And if you prefer beer, head to NEWPORT STORM (293 J.T. Connell Road, Newport) for tours and tastings every day except Tuesday from 12 to 5 pm ($7, 401.849.5232, newportstorm.com).
