All that and more at the Hynes Convention Center (films TBA), 900 Boylston St, Boston | April 6-8 | $55 weekend pass; $35 Fri, Sat; $30 Sun [advanced passes available]| animeboston.com.

DANCE WITH US

Full disclosure: This release party for ANDRÉ OBIN's new single is being held at the Pill, the weekly dance night hosted by the Phoenix's own music editor, Michael Marotta. Oh yeah, and the 7'' is being released on Marotta's recently minted label, Vanya Records. Also worth disclosing? You guys, our audience, voted Obin the best local electronic act in our 2011 Best Music Poll all by yourselves. So don't think of it so much as tooting our own horn as giving the people what they want. That's at Great Scott, 1222 Comm Ave, Allston| 10 pm | $9 | 617.566.9014 or ticketweb.com.
