On the right path
Rhode Island's many bike paths offer tremendous views of the Ocean State that you can't get while your stuck in traffic on 95. Check out some of these cycling sanctuaries:
• The EAST BAY BIKE PATH, a 14-mile trail that starts in East Providence and runs to Colt State Park in Bristol. | riparks.com/eastbay.htm
• The BLACKSTONE RIVER BIKEWAY, a six-mile path that stretches from Front St. in Providence to Manville Rd in Lincoln | blackstonebikeway.org
• Starting at the Kingston Train Station, the WILLIAM C. O'NEILL BIKE PATH is a 5-1/2-mile course that ends at Route 108. | southcountybikepath.org
